I was happily surprised that what I thought was tater tots, were actually bite size fried cheese sticks. YUM! Iced coffee was perfect, not overly flavored. The staff was so helpful and friendly. “ This was my second stop in to Mike's on Main in two months. Today they had Salmon burgers for Lent, however I had the cheese burger. The bun was a fresh cornmeal bun toasted on the flattop. The burger was a blended brisket smashed and cooked to medium. Juicy and tender with a perfect crust under a completely melted slice of sharp cheddar. Dressed with fresh veggies. Ask for the grilled onions. They don't offer fries, but they do have home made sides. I opted for the potato salad. Rich creamy mayo based lightly tossed with al dente potato slices. The Breve was a nice medium house roast, and their black iced tea was refreshing. Mike and Nancy are a pleasure to meet. If you're ever near Palacios for breakfast or lunch make it a point to stop in. Next time I believe I'll try the reindeer dog shipped in from Alaska. ”
